Exhibitors should always be attentive against attempts by individuals to lure them into undesirable agreements, to sell services that are not wanted or needed, or to fraudulently redirect funds from the intended recipient. Below are alerts that IAAPA Expo has put together to help exhibitors avoid situations which can cause financial harm or loss of time and resources in fighting unlawful situations.
All communications from IAAPA Expo service providers will include the Official Service Provider seal pictured here. Beware of communications from vendors who do NOT have the Official Service Provider seal in any communications you receive.
IAAPA does not sell our database information; any company not listed as an IAAPA Expo Official Service Provider should be considered as possibly fraudulent.
If you choose to engage in a business relationship with a company that is NOT an IAAPA Expo Official Service Provider, IAAPA cannot vouch for their legitimacy, nor endorse their services.

IAAPA Expo does not sell our attendee email list. IAAPA Expo, like many other trade shows, is increasingly battling fraudulent companies attempting to prey on exhibitors by “selling” exhibitor contact information and/or attendee lists. Please be extremely cautious of any email claiming to sell exhibitors services regarding attendee communication, exhibitor contact information, and hotel rates. We are actively working to have these companies cease and desist their practices.

GES is the official contractor for IAAPA Expo. Exhibitors can find a list of other Official Service Providers here. If in doubt, always look for the Official Service Provider seal in any communication where you may purchase services.
Exercise caution when dealing with or responding to solicitations from unofficial contractors offering services for IAAPA Expo. Unofficial contractors may attempt to solicit orders for services (i.e., carpet, advertising, shipping, etc.). Some of these solicitations may list IAAPA Expo’s name and logo with the intent of confusing or misleading exhibitors into thinking that the contractors contacting them are associated with IAAPA Expo.
Exhibitors are not required to use Official Service Providers for non-exclusive services, but please be aware that outside contractors must register and be approved by IAAPA. Exhibitors may also incur other financial obligations in the event their designated contractors fail to follow the IAAPA Expo Guidelines and EAC Terms. Funworld and the IAAPA Expo Insider Booklet are the only official IAAPA publications distributed during show days.
Please pay special attention to any email message instructing exhibitors to alter the wire-transfer information provided by our Exhibitor Sales team. The bank account information exhibitors receive from their sales representative is the ONLY account to which exhibitors should send electronic funds.
