In his role, Nolan oversaw the operational development of Universal Studios Beijing’s attractions during design and construction as well as established the Attractions Operations department from the ground up culminating with the grand opening of the resort in September, 2021. He currently continues to oversee and lead the Attractions Operations department at Universal Studios Beijing. Nolan has 20 years of attractions and operations experience. Starting his career at Universal Orlando Resort, he worked among several attractions across the resort’s two major theme parks and supported marquee events. Nolan later joined Resorts World Sentosa in Singapore, supporting the launch of Universal Studios Singapore and holding roles in Attractions Operations, Safety & Compliance, as well as holding roles supporting the overall resort including Attractions & Marquee Event Development and Aquatic Safety. He then joined Dubai Parks & Resorts to launch Motiongate Dubai, overseeing Attractions Operations and Park Services before joining Universal Beijing Resort in late 2017.
