Anthony Blitch

Anthony Blitch is an accomplished operations executive with a distinguished career at Disney spanning over three decades, beginning in 1986. His journey with the Company commenced at Epcot Center in Florida, where his passion for creating unforgettable guest experiences ignited. Throughout his impressive tenure, Anthony has played a pivotal role in the successful openings of several landmark parks, including Disney Hollywood Studios, Disney’s Animal Kingdom, Hong Kong Disneyland, and Shanghai Disneyland. With approximately six years in Worldwide Safety, Anthony led a team dedicated to ensuring the highest safety standards, earning certifications in Certified Quality Auditing and as a certified playground inspector. His expertise extends to numerous expansion initiatives, having contributed to Disney’s Cruise Line and IMG Worlds of Adventure in the Emirates of Dubai. He has also been part of the American Society for Testing and Materials. (ASTM 770 Committee) His involvement helps shape the standards for the theme park industry and helps manufacturers across the world design better accessible attractions. Since relocating to Hong Kong Disneyland in 2018 as Director of Park Operations, Anthony has been instrumental in introducing groundbreaking experiences, including Marvel’s Antman & the Wasp, the Castle of Magical Dreams, and the Momentous nighttime spectacular – along with the park’s first-ever Castle show. His leadership has also been central to the significant expansion project, World of Frozen, where he collaborated closely with Disney Imagineers to bring this ambitious vision to life. In addition to managing operations, Anthony heads the product development team, where he effectively guided the creation of priority access products, which include VIP services. These products are designed for all guest types, which contribute significantly to business growth. Notably adept at adapting to various cultures, Anthony inspires teams to achieve exceptional business results through collaboration and a steadfast commitment to excellence. Anthony is passionate about nurturing talent and is experienced in project management and customer service.
