Catie Christner

Catie Christner is the Vice President of Waterparks at Great Wolf Resorts, where she leads aquatics operations across 23 lodges and helps shape safety and guest experience strategy for one of North America’s largest indoor waterpark operators. Over her 21-year career, Catie has grown from an Aquatics Manager to a corporate executive, deep operational expertise and commitment to team development.

A strong advocate for safety, engagement, and leadership development, Catie focuses on building high-performing teams that deliver exceptional guest experiences. She plays a key role in advancing Great Wolf’s safety culture through initiatives such as the company’s internal auditing program utilizing the Ellis International EAVS system, which has driven measurable performance improvements across aquatics teams. She also co-launched the Aquatics Leadership Academy, a program dedicated to developing leaders into confident, capable professionals equipped for success.

Catie holds a Bachelor’s degree in English Literature from Virginia Commonwealth University and resides in Connecticut, where she enjoys exploring New England with her wife, Brianna, and their dog, Mabel.
