Felipe Magurno
Guest Services Logistics Manager Felipe Magurno is a leader based in New York City and one of the first Guest Experience Managers hired for SUMMIT One Vanderbilt, where he has been since the experience launched. From the opening through its growth, he has helped shape SUMMIT’s service standards, team culture, and operational practices, and takes pride in having watched the experience evolve from concept to a major New York City attraction.
Felipe brings a strong background in hospitality, sales, and tour operator operations, having managed customer-facing teams and complex logistics across diverse environments. This foundation allows him to blend revenue awareness, guest-centric service design, and back-of-house efficiency—translating into better experiences for visitors and clearer processes for staff and managers. In his current role, Felipe focuses on workforce management, scheduling optimization, and employee experience in high-volume, guest-facing operations like SUMMIT. He has led the rollout of timekeeping and scheduling platforms such as 7Shifts and ADP, collaborated on developing SOPs, and helped build training and orientation materials that clearly define expectations and provide hands-on guidance for both management and frontline teams.
Felipe is ICAP certified, further strengthening his expertise in international tour operations and guest assistance, and he is fluent in English and Portuguese. He is passionate about people's growth, leads with professionalism and clear communication, and focuses on empathy and mental health and wellness.
