Tim Swengros

Tim Swengros grew up in Yorktown, Virginia where he spent many days visiting Busch Gardens Williamsburg with his mother.  He immediately knew that even as a kindergartener, this was his passion.  He loved the sights and sounds of the parks, the sound of the lift hill of the Loch Ness Monster, the howl of the Big Bad Wolf and his favorite ride; the Skyride.  He moved to Central Florida for his dad’s job and immediately fell in love with the surrounding parks.  Tim went on to study Theme Park Management at the University of Central Florida’s Rosen College of Hospitality Management, where he landed an internship back at Busch Gardens Williamsburg, the place that started it all for him.  During college, he worked at Universal Orlando Resort for 3 years in attractions and as a trainer, and then moved to Disney after graduation where he worked for nearly 10 years in attractions, training, coordinating, scheduling, guest services, project management and facilitating the Star Wars Guided Tour and the Keys to the Kingdom Tour.  Tim currently works as a Membership Engagement Representative at IAAPA, and has been for a little over a year.  His favorite part of the job is interacting with fellow park loving Members and sharing stories as to why they love the parks and what drove them to pursue a career in the attractions industry.  Tim enjoys spending time with his wife Alicia and his daughter Lucy, going to the parks and spending time with family and friends.
