Tazia Rutherford

Tazia Rutherford is the Director of Marine Mammal Operations at Dolphin Cay with over 17 years at Atlantis Paradise Island, including 11 years in leadership. She began as a marine mammal specialist shortly after Dolphin Cay opened, following her bachelor’s degree in biology from the University of Tampa. Passionate about marine life and team development, Tazia combines scientific knowledge, operational leadership, and a commitment to education to elevate both animal care and guest engagement. She also serves as Co Chair of the Education Committee, training new team members and advancing educational programming for guests and community groups.
