Milko Ćakić

Milko Ćakić is a waterpark manager with over 13 years of experience in the development and operation of waterparks. He has been involved in projects worldwide, contributing to construction, delivery and various aspects of the waterpark project lifecycle, including operational performance. He has also spent a significant part of his career working with WhiteWater West, gaining hands-on experience across multiple phases of waterpark development.

Currently leading Aquapark Dalmatia in Croatia, Milko focuses on developing waterparks as high-performing systems where operational excellence drives guest experience, revenue, and long-term value. His work emphasises capacity planning, guest flow, and the alignment between concept design and daily operations.

He is the creator of the “Waterpark Code” series, where he shares insights on how waterparks are designed, managed, and optimised as complete business systems. His approach challenges the conventional approach of designing waterparks around individual attractions, highlighting the importance of the underlying systems that define real performance.
