Both IAAPA and Fira Barcelona Gran Via encourage cashless payments, but cash will be accepted including on-site registration.
Admittance for children 17 years of age and younger is complimentary, but children must wear an identification wristband (available at Registration on-site) at all times. Anyone age 18 years or older is required to pay the full registration fee to access the trade show floor. IAAPA Expos are business-to-business events. Adults should monitor their children at all times while attending the Expo, in particular on the trade show floor. Unattended children will have their parent or guardian called and will be asked to leave the show floor. Thank you for your cooperation!

The IAAPA Foundation Chocolate Bar will be available to purchase online as part of the show registration, and on-site at the IAAPA Foundation counter in the registration lobby of IAAPA Expo Europe in Barcelona.

Overlooking the exhibit floor of Hall 2 is the Barcelona Suite, Level 1, where you’ll find the IAAPA Sales Office with exhibit sales information, sponsorship and advertising details, and materials for all upcoming IAAPA Expos. Submit your contract and choose your booth space for future events.
Also benefit from IAAPA Exhibitor Lounge located next door. Enjoy a complimentary coffee and a chat.

Lost and found items can be found at the ServiFira service counter in the South Access Customer Service Lobby, Level –1.

Fira Barcelona Gran Via has underground car park facilities (for vehicles below 2.05m) along its perimeter (see venue map). Parking “A” at the South Access is open from Monday to Friday from 07:30 – 20:00. For large vehicles higher than 2.05m, two parking areas are located near the venue. More information and maps coming soon.

We welcome all guidance and assistance dogs. No other dogs/pets permitted.
An interfaith and meditation room is located in Room B15 in the Barcelona Suite, Level 1.
There are several catering outlets at Fira Barcelona Gran Via. They can be found outside and inside the venue offering a variety of food formats and cuisine types. You can also dine at the Nuclo restaurant located adjacent to the South Access foyer.
There are no strollers or trolleys allowed on the show floor. Please refer to the Cloakroom information should you need to store items.

Registration for children 17 years of age and younger is complimentary, but children must wear an identification wristband at all times (available for free at registration on-site with a registered adult). Anyone aged 18 years or older is required to pay the registration fee to access the trade show floor. Refer to the Children Policies under Important Information to Know.
EDUTours and events that are not sold out can be purchased at Registration in the South Access lobby of the Fira Barcelona, Gran Via. All breakfasts, lunches, and receptions are ticketed events with a separate registration fee. Space is limited and may sell out. There are no printed tickets. Tickets are tied to the badge which will be scanned for access to the event. No one under the age of 18 may participate in EDUTours or special events.
An IAAPA Expo Europe name badge is required for admission to all Expo activities, events, and services, including the trade show, shuttle buses, and Opening Ceremony. It also provides IAAPA members with free admission to the Education Conference. Non-members must pay a separate fee to access the Education Conference program. Name badges must be worn at all times while in the Fira Barcelona, Gran Via and while participating in any Expo events. No buyer or attendee can be admitted with an exhibitor badge, nor should an attendee or exhibitor try to gain entry to the trade show with a badge that indicates a name other than their own. Exhibitors must also wear their badges at all times. Badges can be revoked at IAAPA’s discretion. Any lost or misplaced badges must be repurchased at full cost. If lost badges are later found, the purchaser may submit the found badge and a letter requesting a refund to IAAPA. IAAPA will evaluate each refund request on a case-by-case basis.
Tickets for special events are available for pre-purchase online as well as on-site based on availability. Each registrant may only purchase one ticket per event. Tickets are tied to the badge and not printed. Tickets are non-refundable. Contact Registration to switch a ticket to another registrant. You must be registered for the Expo and at least 18 to attend any ticketed function.
Regardless of rain, all outdoor special ticketed events and EDUTours will continue as scheduled.
Only written requests to [email protected] received on or before 30 days prior to the start of the Expo, will receive a refund for registration, less a 10% processing fee. Special event tickets, charity items, and upgrades are non-refundable under any circumstance. Cancellations due to illness or emergency will be evaluated by IAAPA on a case-by-case basis.
All attendees will be required to provide a picture ID to collect their badge or purchase tickets on-site. Students and Faculty will be required to provide a current student or faculty ID from a degree-granting university or college.

In case of emergency, call +34 93 233 4100 and report what has happened. The closest First Aid room for IAAPA Expo Europe 2025 is located at Loadbay 2-3 next to Gate 3.14.
Venue security staff and hall managers will be present in the halls and at the entrances. The nearest police station is located at South Access, ground level (0) Rooms L and M.
To ensure participants’ safety, IAAPA uses the venue emergency procedures in cooperation with Fira Barcelona Gran Via, the local medical team as well as the on-site fire brigade, to be prepared for any situation which might occur during IAAPA Expo Europe 2025. In the event of an emergency please call the Fira Barcelona Gran Via dedicated emergency no: +34 93 233 4100.
Please always secure your belongings and never leave bags, mobile devices, laptops, show badges, or other valuables unattended, even for a moment.
Scooters are not permitted on the show floor. A limited number of wheelchairs can be requested at the Information point in the South Access foyer. Please note suitable ID will be required.
The Quiet Room is located in CC1, Level 1 and offers a calm space for attendees to recharge mentally and emotionally. Neurodiverse attendees or those sensitive to overstimulation are invited to use this quiet and calming environment.
