IAAPA Expo Europe opened with a distinctly British celebration of storytelling and entertainment. William Shakespeare took center stage from a reimagined Big Ben-inspired setting, connecting the timeless art of storytelling with the experiences created by today’s attractions industry, setting the stage for the week ahead.
IAAPA President and CEO Jakob Wahl reprised the role of British legend 007, James Bond, appearing spontaneously throughout the theater during the Opening Ceremony before taking the stage. Upon his arrival, Wahl invited Vekoma CEO Anne-Mart Agerbeek centerstage for recognition of the ride manufacturer’s 100th anniversary.
