FOOD AND BEVERAGE CONTINUES TO BE AN ESSENTIAL COMPONENT of the theme park experience. Today, culinary’s role extends far beyond simply satisfying hunger, becoming a powerful driver of guest satisfaction, emotional engagement, and commercial performance.

At Miral Experiences—a subsidiary of Miral and creator of immersive destinations and experiences in Abu Dhabi—F&B is an integral part of the guest journey rather than a supporting amenity.

Across Yas Island’s world-class attractions, dining concepts are carefully designed to enhance storytelling, deepen guest engagement, and extend the overall experience. From unit placement and menu development—to guest flow planning—every element is considered to ensure dining contributes to both memorable experiences and strong commercial performance.

This philosophy comes to life through destination-specific concepts that immerse guests further into the worlds they are exploring. At Ferrari World Yas Island, Abu Dhabi, Mamma Rossella brings the authentic flavours and spirit of Maranello to life through award-winning Italian cuisine. Meanwhile, Gran Tour Emilia
celebrates the rich culinary heritage of Italy’s Emilia-Romagna region, reflecting the orrgins of the Ferrari brand. At Yas Waterworld Yas Island, Abu Dhabi, Dockside Dining complements the park’s adventurous atmosphere with a relaxed waterfront-inspired experience. At Warner Bros. World Yas Island, Abu Dhabi, The Starlight Restaurant transports guests to the glamour of Hollywood’s Golden Age within Warner Bros. Plaza. Meanwhile, Fathom 11 at SeaWorld Yas Island, Abu Dhabi, draws inspiration from the wonders of the ocean, seamlessly supporting the park’s One Ocean story.

Rather than operating as standalone restaurants, these venues are designed to become extensions of the attractions themselves, reinforcing each park’s identity and enhancing immersion. However, delivering memorable dining experiences at scale requires more than creativity alone. As attractions continue to grow in size and complexity, maintaining consistency across multiple parks and concepts becomes equally important.

One of the industry’s biggest F&B challenges has become finding the balance between operational excellence and innovation. Guests expect originality and memorable experiences, but they also expect speed, quality, and consistency.

At Miral Experiences, guest feedback, purchasing behaviour, operational performance metrics, and guest insights help shape everything from menu development and unit placement, to seasonal offerings and capacity planning. This data-driven approach enables the team to continuously refine experiences while responding to evolving guest preferences.

The future of attraction dining will be defined by greater personalization, deeper thematic integration, and increasingly immersive culinary experiences. Successful attractions will explore new concepts, limited-time experiences, and be innovative when integrating culinary more deeply into the guest journey. Focusing on elevating F&B from a supporting function into a strategic business driver—one that enhances guest satisfaction—can encourage repeat visitation and contribute to commercial success.
