Food and Drink Sampling

• The sampling of food and/or drink from exhibition stands may be permitted on certain events, however this is dependent on the nature and profile of the exhibition and must be fully discussed and agreed with your IAAPA Show Management at: [email protected]
• Please be informed that exhibitors offering food or beverage samples are required to obtain higher insurance coverage accordingly.
• Any proposed sampling activity must be notified to your IAAP Show Management no later than 13 February 2026 for approval unless agreed, the standard sampling sizes are:
  • Unwrapped food – bite size portions
  • Individually wrapped items
  • Drink – 85 ml (3fl oz.) container
• This only applies where samples are free of charge; otherwise, the operation will be treated as a retailing activity, and will be subject to a concession fee and must be carried out in accordance with IAAP show policy and ADNEC regulations.
• All food safety and hygiene regulations must be complied with and random checks may be made at any time.
