Amber Christopher, ICAE

Amber Christopher is a seasoned executive with over 20 years of experience driving success in the nonprofit and hospitality sectors, specifically within museums, zoos, and tourism. She excels at supercharging revenue, streamlining operations, designing innovative programs, and elevating guest experiences.

Currently, as the General Manager of the Harley-Davidson Museum & Milwaukee Experiences, Amber leads all areas of the Museum and its 20-acre campus, along with other facilities in Milwaukee. She is actively involved in promoting tourism to the city to drive economic growth, including serving on Visit Milwaukee as a Board Member for Visit Milwaukee and member of the Strategic Planning Taskforce. 

Prior to this, Amber served as Chief Operating Officer at the Denver Zoo, where she led all aspects of the zoo’s operations. Amber also served IAAPA as a Committee Member and then Committee Chair for the Zoo and Aquarium Committee and spearheaded the task force to update the "Animals in Human Care Toolkit".  As a leader, She is committed to fostering high-performing teams, building robust partnerships, and ensuring organizational efforts contribute to business objectives and impactful change.
