Christophe Murphy

Christophe Murphy was appointed President of Disneyland Paris in July 2026. In this role, he sets the strategic direction and oversees the performance as well as the ongoing development of Europe’s most-visited tourist destination.

He leads an organization of more than 20,000 Cast Members (employees) and is responsible for the resort’s full portfolio, including its two theme parks, seven hotels, Disney Village, entertainment offerings, and supporting infrastructure – ensuring a consistently exceptional guest experience, while sustaining the momentum and growth of the business.

Prior to his appointment, he served as Senior Vice President, Operations and has been a member of the Steering Committee since 2023. He spearheaded the resort’s operations during a pivotal period, marked by the inauguration of Disney Adventure World and the opening of World of Frozen.

Previously, Christophe served as Vice President, Operations at Walt Disney Attractions Japan from 2021 to 2023, working closely with Oriental Land Company to uphold Disney’s renowned standards of quality and guest experience at Tokyo Disney Resort, while supporting its expansion strategy. His leadership contributed to strengthening Disney’s global operational network and fostering greater cross-continental collaboration as well as best practice sharing.

Christophe, who is both Irish and French, joined Disneyland Paris in February 1991 and has held numerous leadership roles across operations and support, including marketing & sales, further broadening his perspective across the full guest journey. Appointed Director in 2003 and Vice President in 2015, he built deep expertise in large-scale resort management and team leadership.
