In dem Bestreben, die IAAPA Expo Asia nachhaltiger zu gestalten, lädt IAAPA die Aussteller ein, an der IAAPA Expo Asia Exhibitor Sustainability Pledge teilzunehmen.

Es ist ganz einfach, teilzunehmen. Nachfolgend finden Sie eine Liste von Möglichkeiten, wie Aussteller während der IAAPA Expo Asia Nachhaltigkeitsmaßnahmen durchführen können. Wir bitten jedes Unternehmen, das sich dem Versprechen anschließen möchte, fünf oder mehr Punkte auszuwählen und sich für die IAAPA Expo Asia dazu zu verpflichten.

Um ein stärkeres Engagement zu fördern, wird die IAAPA mit einer Auswahl der verpflichteten Aussteller vor Ort Nachkontrollen durchführen, um sie zu beobachten, Daten zu sammeln und Erkenntnisse zu gewinnen. Nachhaltigkeitsgeschichten von Ausstellern, einschließlich der erfüllten Verpflichtungen, Herausforderungen und Ideen, denen andere folgen können, werden in der IAAPA-Kommunikation veröffentlicht. Darüber hinaus wird eine kurze Umfrage zur Selbsteinschätzung weiteres Feedback liefern, um das Versprechen für zukünftige Veranstaltungen zu verfeinern und zu stärken.

Sustainability and Waste

IAAPA is committed to promoting sustainability in exhibitions and we continually work with venues, suppliers and contractors to reduce the impact our activities have on the environment.  
To support these goals, you can use the information below in planning your stand at IAAPA Expo Europe

• Walling – use recycled materials or a modular system that can be reused multiple times and avoid creating items that can’t be used again. (This is also quicker and easier to assemble onsite!)
• Flooring - use standard hire items such as carpet tiles that can be re-used at multiple events.
• Signage – use recycled materials with eco-friendly ink where possible and ensure all content is not event specific and remove all dates and times so that it may be reused.
• Audio Visual – use hire equipment or if purchasing new, ensure AV can be reused multiple times.
• Furniture – use hire equipment and/or recycled materials where possible.

In addition – please adhere to the below:

• Minimise packaging and reuse your packing materials.
• Bring only what is needed for the event. Take away/recycle what isn’t distributed at the event.
• Buy products made from recycled materials, or research and prioritise items and equipment that support the use of recycled materials.
• Ensure you have a plan for your stand materials at the end of the event and pre-book cleaning, storage and transportation requirements. This will assist suppliers in optimising resources.
• Turn off all lights and equipment at night.
• Ensure suppliers use modern, energy-efficient technology.
• Ensure contractors use LED, energy-efficient lighting (LED lights use approx. 80% less energy).
• Use local staff and resources to reduce international travel and opt to offset your carbon emissions on flights.
• Remind your drivers to switch off engines when waiting to load or unload.
• Thoroughly check all boxes/crates to ensure you are not transporting goods that are not required at this event .
