For more than 30 years, Shawn McCoy has led strategy, concept development, and creative direction for a broad range of attractions and cultural destinations worldwide. Shawn’s experience extends across the entertainment, sports and interpretive community, and has worked with a wide variety of clients including NBC, Universal Studios, Disney, Warner Bros., Sony, Lionsgate, Coca-Cola, Crayola, Hasbro, Swarovski, National Geographic, CAMP, Original X, Superfly, Green Bay Packers, Dallas Cowboys, Los Angeles Dodgers, The Field Museum, Space Center Houston, and more. He has authored several internationally published articles on the attractions industry and is a frequent speaker at conferences and events hosted by organizations such as the Themed Entertainment Association, the Association of Children’s Museums, AAM, ECSITE, and NASA. For more than fifteen years, Shawn has presented “Emerging Trends, Techniques and Technologies in Experiential Design” at the annual IAAPA Expo and is regularly interviewed as a trend’s expert by major media outlets including Forbes, USA Today, and CNN.
