Sarah Scates

Sarah Scates has worked at Oakland Zoo since 2022. After spending 12 years in the Education department, in 2014 she became the Membership Manager. In 2022 she became the Director of Admission & Membership, taking responsibility for backend admissions management for both year-round daytime GA and the seasonal Glowfari Lantern Festival evening event. Sarah is especially fond of efficiency and incremental improvement, and her favorite animal is the white-faced whistling ducks.
