Ryan Phillips

Ryan is an accomplished attractions executive with two decades of global experience across the Americas, Asia, and the Middle East. Known for dynamic leadership and a passion for building high-performing teams, Ryan has driven operational excellence and financial performance for organizations ranging from family-owned facilities to major international brands. His expertise spans pre-opening strategy, large-scale recruitment, safety compliance, and P&L management, consistently delivering innovative guest experiences and sustainable operational efficiency.

Ryan currently serves as General Manager of the ProFun Academy, the training arm of ProFun , where he leads the firms' efforts "Training the people behind the world's greatest experiences".

Ryan is also active in the industry through several volunteer roles, including the IAAPA MENA Regional Advisory Board and as Chairman of its Safety and Security Committee. He has contributed as a speaker at industry events including the World Waterpark Association (WWA) and the Ellis & Associates International Aquatic Safety School.
