About

Richard is the President & General Manager of Morgan's Wonderland and Morgan's Inspiration Island in San Antonio, TX. Richard's early career began at Busch Gardens Williamsburg, working front-line roles in food service. At Busch, Richard got his passion for the theme park industry. After graduating college, he pursued a career in theme parks, eventually leading him to leadership roles at Sesame Place, Crayola Experience, and Six Flags Great Escape. Richard has also held executive leadership roles at Six Flags America as Park President and at SeaWorld San Antonio as Vice President of Revenue.

Under Richard's leadership at Morgan's, the park has achieved record revenue and attendance, significant growth in the park's active pass base, and enhancements to the guest experience that further deliver on the park's mission of Inclusion and Ultra Accessibility.

Richard holds a Master of Architecture from Hampton University in Virginia and a Master of Business Administration from Norwich University in Vermont. He also has Six Sigma and Organizational Excellence certifications from the American Society of Quality.
