Ong Huey Hong

Ong Huey Hong is the Assistant Chief Executive of the Industry Development Group and Chief Sustainability Officer at the Singapore Tourism Board. In this role, she leads the development of tourist industries such as hotels, travel agents, and MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conventions, Exhibitions). She oversees tourism sector human capital strategies, licensing and development of tourist guides and infrastructure planning, and management of key assets such as integrated resorts and cruise terminals. As Chief Sustainability Officer, Huey Hong champions efforts to transform Singapore into a sustainable tourism destination. Throughout her career at STB since 2007, she has held several key positions, contributing to hotel industry transformation, cruise sector development, and technology innovation. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Naval Architecture (First Class Honours) and an MBA in Banking and Finance.
