Michael Serna

Michael Serna (Executive Creative Director) has been with Disney Entertainment for over 25 years, beginning his career as a performer at Disneyland. For Disney Parks he has been a Casting Director and a Show Director but proudly became a Walt Disney Imagineer 11 years ago. 

Michael has been a Creative Director on opening teams for The Disney Treasure and Destiny (Disney Cruise Line), The World of Frozen (Hong Kong Disneyland), Avengers Campus (Disneyland and Disneyland Paris) and New Fantasyland (Tokyo Disneyland). 

Show creative development includes: Disney Hercules, Shadows of Memory: A Skywalker Saga, Disney The Tale of Moana, Anna and Elsa’s The Playhouse in the Woods, Storytime with Deadpool, Fire of the Rising Moons, Disney Junior Dance Party!, Guardians of the Galaxy: Awesome Dance Off, Avengers Assemble, The Amazing Spider-Man, The Warriors of Wakanda: Disciplines of the Dora Milaje, Doctor Strange: Mysteries of the Mystic Arts, M’Baku: The Way of the Jabari and Hawkeye: Home for the Holidays. Beyond his work with Disney Live Entertainment, Michael is also an award-winning theatrical director and scenic designer. He is also a self-proclaimed Star Wars and Marvel geek.
