Masako Taguchi

Masako Taguchi is the Senior Vice President of Talent & Culture (HR) in Universal Studios Japan, responsible for end to end HR functions, supporting over 15,000 employees with about 160+ HR professionals.  She is also responsible for the overall risk management across USJ, as a Chief Risk Officer (CRO), intensively putting her efforts on creating a safe environment for guests visiting the park as well as the team members working there.

She has nearly 20 years of experiences in HR as well as in Business within IBM, in multiple countries including Japan, USA, Australia, and Singapore. Her extensive HR experiences with a strong business acumen have been proven in various leadership roles globally and locally in Japan.
