Jonathan Kusyanto is the Executive Director of the Lifesaving Society, Alberta and Northwest Territories Branch, Canada’s leading organization dedicated to drowning prevention and aquatic safety. He oversees provincial strategies for training, standards, and public education, and leads complex initiatives, including digital transformation projects that support more effective service to affiliates and partners in drowning prevention. With experience spanning governance, risk management, and program operations, Jonathan works closely with aquatic facilities, municipalities, and regulators to reduce drowning and water related injuries across diverse communities. At the IAPPA Webinar, he will share practical insights on strengthening water safety systems, partnerships, and organizational capacity in community settings that support drowning prevention.
