Elgin Hepburn

Elgin Hepburn is the Associate Director of Aquarium Operations at Atlantis Paradise Island, overseeing husbandry and marine animal health for the world’s largest open-air marine habitat. With 42 years at Atlantis, he brings extensive operational experience and a lifelong commitment to marine care. Elgin began as a lab assistant before spending 32 years in Water Features/Marine Aquarium Operations, advancing through roles such as Scuba Diver/Aquarist, Senior Aquarist, and Aquarium Curator.
