About

Daniel Almer has over 17 years of experience designing safe and reliable control systems for roller coasters and amusement rides. Driven by the belief that human health is our most valuable asset, he places the highest priority on ride safety and compliance with relevant functional safety standards.

Since 2023, Daniel has been Co-Founder and Co-Owner of SafetyExpert GmbH, providing specialized services in control systems engineering and functional safety, with a strong focus on the amusement ride industry.

In addition, Daniel is actively involved in international standardization and technical committees (CEN, ISO, ASTM), contributing to the development of global safety standards for amusement rides. He also serves as a member of the IAAPA EMEA Safety and Security Committee.
