Cynthia Lyon, ICAE

Cynthia Lyon is the Director of Operations at Busch Gardens Williamsburg, with more than 30 years of leadership experience in the theme park and attractions industry. She has held operational roles across multiple United Parks & Resorts properties in Florida and Virginia, as well as with Universal Parks & Resorts, giving her broad, multi-property perspective on park operations. Her background also includes experience in Merchandise and Food & Beverage, strengthening her cross-functional operational expertise. Cynthia holds a Master of Business degree, serves on IAAPA’s Amusement Parks and Attractions Committee, and has been an IAAPA mentor for the past three years, supporting the development of emerging industry leaders.
