Charita was a senior creative producer and development manager of Walt Disney Imagineering’s Scenic Illusion team, an application and integration team focused on developing new tools and techniques to supply designers with expanded storytelling capabilities. Under Charita’s oversight, the Scenic Illusion team has been awarded more than 20 patents for Disney. Charita has delivered attractions for both Walt Disney World Resort and Disneyland Resort, as well as internationally at Tokyo Disney Resort. The attraction is the first ride-through attraction in Disney history to star Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse. Charita began her Imagineering career as a senior accountant and was promoted to finance manager and strategic business partner of the Creative Development Division. From there, she transitioned to development manager of Blue Sky Strategic Initiatives and joined the Creative Division as a show producer. Charita holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from California State University Northridge. She is active in her community, an award-winning nature photographer, a commercial hand model and an avid gardener.
