Aran leads economic consulting engagements that help organizations and communities understand and communicate important tourism trends.

He has 25 years of consulting experience in the tourism sector, including lodging, destination development, visitor activity, business events, and casino gaming.

At Tourism Economics, he manages the industry studies and forecasting team. This team delivers industry-wide economic impact studies, policy impact analyses, and forecasts of tourism sector performance. Typical clients include industry associations, operators, and global brands, as well as public sector clients, such as destination marketing organizations.

Prior to joining Tourism Economics, he was a Director in the Hospitality & Leisure consulting practice at PwC. Before PwC, he worked at WEFA Group (now S&P Global).
