Aaron Philpott

Aaron Philpott is Senior Vice President of Technical Services at Universal Studios Japan, where he oversees Engineering, Attraction Services, Facility Services & Development, and Environmental Health & Safety. He leads the teams responsible for keeping the park’s attractions, facilities, and infrastructure safe and reliable while supporting continued growth and an outstanding guest experience. Prior to joining Universal Studios Japan, Aaron served in executive leadership roles at both Universal Orlando Resort and Universal Beijing Resort. He holds master’s degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Florida in the United States.

Aaron’s leadership emphasizes the connection between technical excellence and a strong safety culture. His priorities include strengthening maintenance and engineering practices, developing team capabilities, and encouraging open communication and accountability.
