The IAAPA Foundation FEC Scholarship supports individuals who are passionate about creating exceptional guest experiences and building a future in the attractions industry. This opportunity provides recipients with the chance to attend IAAPA Expo in Orlando, Florida in November. The selected recipient will take part in curated education sessions and events focused on Family Entertainment Centers (FECs), offering valuable insight into industry trends, operations, and leadership.
Whether you are currently working in a Family Entertainment Center, Indoor Entertainment venue, or Location-Based Entertainment (LBE) facility, or preparing to begin your career in this space, this scholarship is designed to help you grow, connect, and gain the tools to advance your journey in attractions.

To complete your application, please submit the following materials:
- Resume or CV
Please upload a current version of your resume or curriculum vitae.
- Letter of Recommendation
Upload a letter of recommendation from your current employer or instructor. This letter should support your application and confirm you will be granted the time to attend IAAPA Expo 2027.
Note: The letter should be no longer than two paragraphs in length.

Record a video, no longer than three minutes, addressing the following:- What you currently do
- Why you are passionate about the attractions industry
- What you hope to gain from attending IAAPA Expo 2027

The IAAPA Foundation FEC Scholarship requires the recipient to provide a testimonial to the Foundation following IAAPA Expo 2027.
The testimonial may be used by the IAAPA Foundation to:
- Highlight the impact of the scholarship on recipients
- Promote future scholarship opportunities and fundraising efforts
- Showcase how the experience contributed to personal or professional growth
The IAAPA Foundation FEC Scholarship provides a total value of $2,500. A portion of this amount will be used to cover the cost of IAAPA Expo registration, the FEC Reception, and FEC Lunch and Learn events. The remaining balance will be issued to the recipient to help offset hotel and airfare expenses.
