James Kennard

James has been working in the entertainment and leisure sector since 2003. James begun his career with Economics Research Associates (ERA) as Research Associate, then Associate. He then had a spell as Senior Economist at WS Atkins and then a few years as Associate Partner within the Research team at Knight Frank. James joined LDP as a Partner in 2012. James has worked across all entertainment and leisure reseal estate sub groups including all varieties of visitor attractions, various forms of accommodation, stadium and areas, and large mixed-use developments with multiple land uses. Having had a spell at engineering and property companies James also brings experience across the commercial and residential property sectors which is valuable particularly when assessing larger mixed-use development programmes. James has managed with a wide range of visitor attraction groups and operators, potential investors and developers, and government bodies. The types of assignments are typically market and feasibility studies, improvement strategies, strategic tourism studies and economic impact assessments. James has worked extensively across Asia including in China, India, Japan, Indonesia, Cambodia, Philippines, Sri Lanka, Macao, Thailand, Malaysia and South Korea.
