IAAPA Latin America, Caribbean and the National Institute of Industrial Technology (INTI) of Argentina, join together to share updates on international and national safety regulations, applicable to parks and attractions of all types.
Attend this Safety Forum with sessions and workshops, where safety experts will share processes, best practices and news that will maintain the level of safety in your facilities and that visitors and collaborators require to operate safely.
This Forum will take place on June, Tuesday 25 and Wednesday 26 at the INTI facilities, Av. General Paz Nº 5445, San Martín, Buenos Aires. And we will complement the learning with a visit and workshops at Parque de la Costa.

Speakers
Luciana Periales
Graduate in marketing, with experience in management in the entertainment industry. Luciana serves as CEO at Neverland, with more than 34 locations in Argentina and Spain, develops design and innovation. She is responsible for global strategic affairs, business, operational and performance, developing new market entry strategies, preparing the annual budget, ensuring that each FEC follows specific KPIs.
Luciana stands out for her commitment and social responsibility in different organizations that provide educational programs for healthy development and dignified childhood, in addition to donating to foundations that promote the well-being and development of children and their families; She also promotes programs focused on environmental protection issues. Since 2010, she has actively participated in various IAAPA committees, standing out as chair of the IAAPA Latin America and Caribbean Advisory Committee, and member of the IAAPA Board of Directors from 2020 to 2022. In 2023 she was appointed IAAPA Board of Directors Second Vice Chair, by 2024, so in 2026 he will lead the Global Association for the Attractions Industry IAAPA.
Isidora Díaz Heredia
Isidora Díaz has a degree in Chemical Sciences, an MBA from ESADE Business School and a W50 2021 Program from the London School of Economics and Political Science. She is a Certified Professional in Occupational Safety and Health and has a Master's Degree in Environmental Protection.
Since 2018, Isidora has been a member of the Stakeholder Council of the Global Reporting Initiative-GRI, advising the GRI Board of Directors on strategic issues related to the preparation of Sustainability Reports. She currently works as Chief HSE and Sustainability Officer at Parques Reunidos. Before joining Parques Reunidos she held positions at the national, regional and global level in the areas of Sustainability, Safety and Health, Environment or Innovation in multinational companies in the field of manufacturing construction products, and environmental services. Currently, she is the chair of the IAAPA EMEA safety committee.
César Lago
César studied a degree in business administration at the CEMA University, at Buenos Aires, from where he graduated in 2001. In 1996 he founded Mundo Cartoon Network, an original and innovative proposal that differs from the traditional schemes of the family entertainment centers. Its main objective is to materialize the download of the signal to a physical space, thus generating a different experience, in a world of illusion and fantasy come true. He is also the creator of Lago Experience Lab.
César is a member of the IAPA Latin America, Caribbean Advisory Council. Currently, he presides over the Argentine Association of Parks and Attractions, AAPA.
Pablo Rafael González Táboas
Pablo is a mechanical engineer from Universidad Tecnológica Nacional (UTN) and a Specialist in Non-Destructive Testing (CNEA-UNSAM). He has been certified in various testing methods and today works as chief of the Non-destructive Testing Department at INTI. He has extensive experience in personnel training, and is also a university professor. He is part of the Amusement Park Safety Commission at IRAM.
Claudio Berterreix
Mechanical Engineer from UBA (Universidad de Buenos Aires) with specialization in Mechanical Design. Postgraduate at UTN-FRBA in Project Management. At INTI since 1995 with experience in several technical laboratories in its first years. At that time he coordinated the Amusement Park Safety Program for 2 years. As manager, he created an INTI Delegation in La Pampa and later coordinated the International Cooperation Project. He was Technical Director of INTI-Mecánica and Regional Assistance Manager of the Institute.
Mauro Sebastián Gajardo
Mauro is an industrial engineer from the Universidad Nacional de San Martín (UNSAM). He currently works as a Non-Destructive Testing Operator at INTI. He is certified in different test methods. One of his main activities is inspections of Amusement Parks and Tourist Attractions and the coordination of the sector. He is part of the Amusement Park Safety Commission at IRAM.
Jorge Ernesto Schneebeli
Jorge is a mechanical engineer from the Universidad de Buenos Aires (UBA) and a Specialist in Non-Destructive Testing (CNEA-UNSAM) and in Industrial Quality from the Universidad Nacional de San Martín (UNSAM). He has extensive experience in the Non-Destructive Testing sector and is certified in various testing methods. In her career of more than 30 years, she has held important positions at INTI, such as vice president of the Institute, standing out in the management of this public body. He is a university professor and a reference in quality.
Analía Pellazza
Analía is responsible for the technical coordination at IRAM of the Safety commissions in Amusement Parks, Safety in Playgrounds, Fall protection elements, Safety in protective gloves, Safety in inclusive three-wheeled Velocipedes, Safety in wheelchairs and Ergonomics.
Silvia Díaz Monnier
Silvia is an electronic engineer from the Universidad Tecnológica Nacional (UTN) and has a postgraduate degree in Industrial Quality Specialist from the Universidad Nacional de San Martín (UNSAM). She is Deputy Manager of Electronics and ICTs at INTI. She has more than 25 years of experience in Electrical Safety in different areas. She is a member of the Board of Directors of APSE (Association for the Promotion of Electrical Safety of Argentina) since 2007. She is also a university professor and academic secretary of the Institute of Industrial Quality (INCALIN) Universidad Nacional de San Martín.
Andrea Méndez
Andrea is an electronic engineer from the Universidad Tecnológica Nacional (UTN) and has a postgraduate degree in Industrial Quality Specialist from the Universidad Nacional de San Martín (UNSAM). She is the head of the Electronic Product Safety Department of INTI. She has extensive experience in different areas of Electrical Safety. Participates in the national and Mercosur electrical safety standardization technical committees.
Sergio Guillermo Gonzalez
University Technician in Hygiene and Safety from the Universidad Tecnológica Nacional (UTN) and advanced student of the Bachelor's Degree in Hygiene and Safety. Certified in various NDT methods. He carries out inspections of amusement parks. He is a Reference in Hygiene and Safety for the entire sector of the Mechanics and Logistics Deputy Management.
Valeria Cañón
With more than 20 years in service industry and 15 years in entertainment industry, she currently works as Director of Human Resources, Administration and Commercial areas of Aquopolis Water Park, Aeropolis Adventure Park and El Griego.
She is a trainer of work teams, she has extensive experience in training personnel focused on customer service and attractions safety. In addition, she has training in neurosciences applied to leadership from the University of San Andrés. She is a professional ontological coach (s. 2883) endorsed by the AACOP (Argentine Association of Professional Ontological Coaching) and the FICOP (International Federation of Professional Ontological Coaching). She is a teacher in coaching training at Kairos Consulting.
She is currently chair of IAAPA Education Committee Latin America, Caribbean. She has the IAAPA Attractions Executive certification. She is a member of the IAAPA Latin America, Caribbean Advisory Council. She is also part of the gender perspective committee in tourism at the Argentine Chamber of Tourism (CAT). She is part of the AAPA education committee and collaborates on the standards review and creation commission at IRAM.
Florencia Bereau
Florencia is an environmental safety engineer and a graduate in occupational hygiene and safety. Currently, she oversees the Safety and Hygiene area of Ares S.A. (Neverland) since 2006, when she entered the entertainment industry.
She has been part of the IRAM amusement parks commission since last year. In addition, she works as an independent professional, providing external advice in the field of hygiene and safety, authorizations, and regulations since 2017. Currently, Florencia is a member of the IAAPA safety committee Latin America, Caribbean.
Carlos Schiariti
As Ride Maintenance and Quality Management Manager at Parque de la Costa, Argentina, he has training as an Electrical Engineer graduated from the National Technological University (UTN). With 30 years of professional experience in the Maintenance area, he has developed his career in the Steel Sector, Service companies and in the Entertainment industry, since 1997 in Parque de la Costa.
He leads the maintenance programming teams, supplier selection, failure analysis, improvement proposals, contracting services, spare parts policy, and development of new actions. In addition, he manages the computer maintenance system of Parque de la Costa and has worked as a designer in solar thermal and photovoltaic energy.
He stands out as leader of the Quality Management System team implemented in the areas of electromechanical ride maintenance and operations. Additionally, he was a member of the IAAPA Latin American Safety committee for the operation and maintenance of Amusement Parks and Family Entertainment Centers during the period 2016-2019.
Martín Pagura
Martín is a senior professional electromechanical technician, with a degree in hygiene and safety, with studies in electrical engineering.
Used as maintenance manager at Playcenter in Argentina, he took on the role of maintenance and operations manager at Showcenter operated by Paramount. He has a Level 2 certification in non-destructive testing, is a member of ASTM, IRAM, and a founding member of the safety committee in amusement parks, games and electromechanical attractions.
He is also a member of the board of directors of the National Jurisdiction in Argentina and has been part of the security subcommittee of the Argentine Parks Association and is former president of the security committee of IAAPA Latin America and the Caribbean.
