Michele Sheets is the Director of Human Resources at Silverwood Theme Park, the Pacific Northwest’s largest theme park and family entertainment destination. With a lifelong connection to the organization, Michele began working at Silverwood at the age of 12 through her family’s business and has since built a career rooted in leadership, guest service, and organizational development. Throughout her tenure, Michele has served in a variety of operational and leadership roles, including Guest Relations Manager, before assuming the role of HR Director in 2018. Her broad experience across park operations and employee engagement has given her a unique understanding of both the guest experience and the culture that drives Silverwood’s success. As HR Director, Michele oversees talent acquisition, employee relations, leadership development, training initiatives, and organizational culture for Silverwood’s seasonal and full-time workforce. She is passionate about creating a positive workplace environment that supports employee growth, operational excellence, and exceptional guest experiences. Michele is also an active leader within the attractions industry. She served three years on the IAAPA Awards Task Force and currently contributes as a member of the IAAPA Human Resources Task Force, collaborating with industry professionals to advance HR best practices across the attractions community. Known for her people-first leadership style and deep commitment to the industry, Michele continues to champion workplace culture, team development, and the values that make Silverwood a premier destination for both guests and employees alike.
