About 911 Cell Phone Bank

The 911 Cell Phone Bank is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that provides a 100% FREE service to individuals, businesses, and agencies across the country to securely recycle electronic devices that are no longer needed, or that have been left behind in lost & found or property & evidence rooms. 

We utilize third-party verification software to guarantee data erasure of all electronic devices according to the DOD NIST 800-88 Rev. 1 guidelines.

Donated devices are used to support our mission: To provide no-cost emergency phones to victims of abuse, senior citizens, and other vulnerable persons in need. Since the inception of the program in 2004, over 150,000 phones have been repurposed as emergency devices to assist victims nationwide.

Funds that are generated are used to support family justice centers, domestic violence units, TRIADs, and health care facilities.
