Carlos Andrés Castaño

With more than 25 years of experience in the industry —including the last 18 years with Universal Studios— Carlos Andres Castaño brings extensive operational and technical expertise. He began his career as a mechanic and advanced through multiple leadership positions, ultimately becoming a Director overseeing New Ventures projects for Universal globally.

Currently, he is responsible for operational planning for major New Ventures projects throughout the planning, design, development, and construction phases of UPR initiatives in new markets and locations. He also serves as a key operational representative for New Ventures, focusing on Team Member programs and all areas impacting the Guest experience.

Carlos manages operational alignment with key UPR administrative groups —including Finance, Human Resources, Marketing, Maintenance, BAIE, and EHS— as well as core operating divisions such as Food & Beverage, Merchandise, and Entertainment during the design and development phases of projects.
