Short biography
Meghan Gardner is the founder of Guardian Adventures, which provides consultation and development of online and live-action game-based events specializing in transformative game design (experiences that change the participant's perspective and inspire a change of behavior) incorporating stories and education. Working with cultural advisors from around the world, her company creates custom story and game based projects and LARP (Live Action Roleplaying) adventures that are sensitive, appropriate, and educational. Meghan has also been a cultural game design project manager for University of Georgia, EduLARP Designer and staff trainer for The Princeton Review and Royal Caribbean Cruises, and STEM game designer for CERN and the Smithsonian. She is an annual guest lecturer and expert panelist at Harvard Graduate School of Education, and an international presenter and speaker on the topics of Immersive and Transformative Experiences in Education. In her free time, Meghan volunteers for hospice where she works with terminally ill patients of all ages as well as their families.
