Kris Reyes currently serves as the Director of External Affairs and Strategic Development at the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk in Santa Cruz, California.
Kris originally started working at the Boardwalk at the age of 14 as a candy boy making salt water taffy, caramel apples, and a vareity of tasty treats. Between his first day at the Boardwalk and now, Kris worked in state politics in Texas and Califronia wearing a vareity of hats including chief of staff, campaign manager, and district director for a vareity of elected officials.
Today Kris managers governement affairs, community engagement, communications, and special projects for the historc Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk. His favorite Boardwalk ride is the 100 year old Giant Dipper wooden roller coaster.
