IAAPA Expo Preview: Give Kids The World Charity Events
DURING IAAPA EXPO, two charity events will raise funds for Give Kids The World Village, an 89-acre, nonprofit resort in Kissimmee, Florida, that provides weeklong, cost-free vacations to critically ill children and their families.
The 18th Annual IAAPA International Charity Golf Tournament* on Sunday, Nov. 14 will be held at Shingle Creek Golf Club in Orlando, Florida, minutes away from the Orange County Convention Center. The 18-hole scramble will begin at 8 a.m.
New for this year, the 15th Annual IAAPA Footprints From the Heart 5K Run/1-Mile Walk Benefiting Give Kids The World Village* will take place at SeaWorld Orlando on Thursday, Nov. 18, 7-9 a.m. Participants will experience the sights and sounds of SeaWorld as they run and walk through the park before it opens. Runners can register as individuals or teams, and those who would like to participate but are unable to attend can complete the 5K or 1-mile walk from a treadmill, around the neighborhood, or at a local track by Nov. 17 and share their participation on social media with #IAAPALovesGKTW.
