Description

NBC Universal Studios Hollywood has been relying on ArcGIS Enterprise to help them manage their daily tasks across both the theme park and their backlots in several ways.

With the constant construction across the campus, GIS has helped inform project teams of critical infrastructure for both planning purposes and as the system of record for their assets. These assets started as utility infrastructure, and now encompasses their pavement on campus, their green infrastructure, studio and park facades, and a variety of interior assets.

NBCU is able to manage this information in an interactive platform that allows them to view data spatially and link to additional platforms to give a higher level of insight.

Learning Objectives
-Attendees will learn how NBCU has used their Enterprise GIS platform to help inventory their utility information and utilize this information for planning purposes
-How to utilize interactive tools to share data across multiple groups/departments and increase engagement
-How technology can increase efficiencies with daily tasks for facilities managers
