Description
For many years, parks and attractions focused on huge, thrilling experiences to bring guests to the park. However recently, we have witnessed a growing trend in the number of family experiences. While they may not be the longest, highest, and scariest experiences, they are very valuable in creating a better guest composition and enjoyment factor- directly impacting the bottom line.
As of late, parks are changing course from developing large, thrilling experiences to investing in experiences for the whole family to enjoy. This session will explore the current trend of family experiences and what rides, shows, and attractions fall into this category.
Learning Objectives
-Define the family ride and show examples of recent experiences
-Discuss how attractions are developing and operating family rides to improve guest engagement, attendance diversity, and overall greater guest experiences
