Short biography
Ady Milman is a Professor of Tourism and Hospitality Management at the Rosen College, University of Central Florida. He holds a master’s degree in Tourism Planning and Development from the University of Surrey, England, and a Ph.D. in Business Administration from the University of Massachusetts. His expertise spans research, consulting, publications, media appearances, and industry engagement in theme park and attraction management, consumer behavior, marketing, and destination management. Additionally, he has served as the Research Director of the Dick Pope Sr. Institute for Tourism Studies at UCF.  Following his role as the Disney Sabbatic Professor, he developed a Theme Park and Attraction Management curriculum at UCF, supported by an industry advisory board, and frequently delivers seminars and training events globally.  Dr. Milman was recognized for his research performance, ranking among the top 2% of scientists globally for author citations. He is a member of the UCF Scroll & Quill Society for sustained scholarly contributions, a Fulbright Scholar, and received several awards for his contribution to tourism education and research.
