Lesly Birkner

Short biography

Lesly Birkner is a people and process development specialist focusing on driving operational excellence. Over two decades, Lesly has held various leadership and executive roles in operations, training, safety, security, and technology.  Notably, Lesly played a key role in the redevelopment of Kentucky Kingdom and Hurricane Bay, which brought the amusement and waterpark back to life—Lesly continued as Vice President of Operations for many years. In technology, Lesly leverages large-scale project implementation to improve staff training and streamline guest interactions. Lesly also contributes to IAAPA's Attractions Academy as a Subject Matter Expert in Admissions.  Currently, Lesly is the Managing Partner of FYI Tags, LLC, where she develops accessible soft tech solutions that connect visitors and employees to their surroundings. She consults teams as a certified professional facilitator of the Everything DiSC, Agile EQ, and The 5 Behaviors learning programs, which help foster positive workplaces by developing the people who make them great.
