Description

The sector of immersive attractions has been expanding rapidly and is entering a more mature phase. As the marketplace is becoming competitive, weaker projects are faltering due to initial missteps. Gone are the days when novelty and scarce supply could guarantee success -  and consumers are becoming more discerning. Now is the time for attraction developers to start exercising prudence and diligence before embarking on significant ventures within the immersive attractions sector.

The session will look to dissect the recent triumphs and downfalls in this burgeoning market to provide a valuable insight into key success factors for immersive attractions and experiences, from markets and economics through to concept and technology through the eyes of the consumer. The objective is to distil the experience of the past few years into a series of lessons designed to guide new endeavours in the increasingly competitive marketplace.

Learning Objectives
-Identify key factors that can elevate an immersive attraction project and makes it stand out
-Discuss the parameters of a project (location, markets, pricing, marketing message, etc.) that should be considered during initial steps
-Dissect case studies of recent attractions to learn what works well and what did not work in the current market
