Lord Vampyre has a frightfully funny party trick for guests joining his “Haunted House Monster Party” at Legoland Windsor. The spooky host turns his magnificent banquet hall upside down, thanks to a Vekoma Madhouse ride.
The interactive pre-show is already popular. “Partygoers can enjoy the Bat Boogie and awesome monster music as they pull their best monster faces in the Grand Foyer while greeting the party hosts,” says Rosie Brailsford, creative at Legoland Parks. “We are always adding to our offering, providing guests with new experiences and attractions to visit and engage with year after year,” says Brailsford.
As with other Legoland rides, humor continues to play a key role in the new attraction. The “fang-tastic” attraction covers around 325 square meters, split over two levels. AV effects bring the Lego intellectual property (IP) characters to life, from talking portraits to joke-telling gargoyles. Scents such as a musty hallway and sweet-smelling bubble gum add an extra dimension. Two years in the making, the family-friendly ride features statues and characters made from 106,000 Lego bricks.
