Todd Hougland

As the Senior Director of Design & Development, Todd leads the team of in-house designers, architects and project managers to ensure delivery of a wide numerous Ripley’s Entertainment projects across the globe. These include new builds as well as renovations of the world famous Ripley’s Believe It or Not! Odditoriums, Guinness World Record Adventure attractions, Ripley’s Aquariums and many others. 

Prior to joining Ripley’s Entertainment, Todd was Executive Producer/General Manager at The Producers Group, leading their Orlando office and major projects. From 2004 to 2017, he served as Executive Director of Operations and Entertainment at Ocean Park Hong Kong, contributing to its dramatic growth from 3.8 million to over 7.7 million guests per year. 

With over 35 years in the theme park and attractions industry, Todd has extensive international and cross-cultural experience, having lived and worked in several countries across North America, Europe and Asia.   

Todd is active in the International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions (IAAPA) and is an IAAPA Certified Attractions Executive (ICAE). He currently serves as the Chair for the IAAPA Global Professional Development and Certification Committee.
