HONG KONG, CHINA (12 June 2026) – IAAPA Expo Asia 2026 wrapped today at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre (HKCEC), uniting the global attractions community for five days of forward-thinking ideas, industry insights, and meaningful connections. The Expo welcomed 5,447 verified attendees and 3,655 qualified buyers from 2,522 companies, representing a diverse cross-section of the Asia-Pacific (APAC) market and beyond.
Built around this year’s theme, “Pursue the Wonder,” the Expo encouraged attendees to push creative boundaries, embrace new perspectives, and unlock fresh opportunities for growth and guest engagement. From emerging technologies to operational advancements, the trade show floor offered a showcase of the latest innovations, solutions, and experiences driving the evolution of the attractions industry.
Standout moments throughout the week included an energizing Opening Ceremony featuring Miss Rosanna Law, Secretary for Culture, Sports and Tourism, a vibrant Opening Reception at Hong King Disneyland Resort, and curated EDUTours to Kai Tak Sports Park, Ocean Park Hong Kong, and Kidztopia Hong Kong. The program also featured prominent industry leaders, including Marilyn Tham of the Hong Kong Tourism Board and Chimelong Chairman Su Zhigang, who shared inspirational insights revolving around the attractions industry.
“What we’ve seen this week is a clear signal of where the industry is headed,” said Jack Chan, Executive Director and Vice President of IAAPA APAC. “Operators and suppliers across Asia-Pacific are embracing creativity, technology, and collaboration to deliver more immersive and memorable experiences. The region continues to be one of the most dynamic and fast-evolving markets for attractions globally.”
