Roman Hauer

Short biography

Roman started his career as a structural engineer in bridge construction and moved to the amusement industry as inspector/auditor for TUV Sued Munich before he changed to Mack Rides in Germany where he fills the position of Head of Ride Safety. He is sitting in multiple national and international committees such as the DIN mirror committee for amusement ride standards, CEN/TC152 & ISO/TC254. Roman is a member of the ASTM F24 Executive Committee, the Risk Assessment task group and the IAAPA EMEA Safety Committee.
