Biography
Originally from Brooklyn, NY and growing up in Rahway, NJ, Ken Facey began his career in the amusements industry in the entertainment department at Six Flags Great Adventure in Jackson, NJ. For three years, he performed in shows, parades, and meet and greets throughout the park. After gaining industry experience and confidence, he followed his boyhood dream and became a Cast Member at The Walt Disney World Resort, where he remained for the next 17 years. Throughout his tenure at The Walt Disney Company, Ken held an array of roles, from Park Operations, Lodging Operations, Guest Communications, Premium Services, Operations Leadership, and Disney University Leadership Development. In 2016, Ken was selected as a member of the 2017-2018 Walt Disney World Ambassador Team, representing the more than 75,000 Cast Members at the Walt Disney World Resort in the media, the community, hundreds of events throughout Central Florida and around the world. Ken’s Disney career continued to expand in the Disney television and film division, serving as a Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion consultant. He worked alongside directors, writers, and producers to ensure content was culturally accurate, relevant, and authentic. In 2022, he joined the production team of the critically acclaimed animated show, Disney Junior’s Ariel, before joining the team at Give Kids The World Village, where he serves as a Development Manager, Theme Parks.
