Jon Vigue

Short biography

Jon Vigue has been with Herschend Family Entertainment since 2016 and is presently Vice President & General Manager of Georgia based Wild Adventures Theme Park. Jon has a lifelong passion for theme parks and has served in Senior and Executive Level roles for most of his 26 year career thus far. Prior to joining Herschend, Jon spent 18 years at America's oldest continuously operating theme park, Lake Compounce, where he greatly contributed to the park’s resurgence and expansion through his strategic vision and development initiatives.  He has a unique 360 degree understanding of how the different business disciplines come together to work most efficiently, which he has found leads to growth all around. Jon most enjoys his job the most when he can contribute to the career development of others, as well as when he is able to assist individuals and the business in achieving ongoing and continuous improvement.  Jon is an IAAPA Certified Attractions Executive, and has spent many years serving on IAAPA committees, initially joining the Food & Beverage Committee in 2007.  Jon is an avid hockey fan and loves the Boston Bruins (and other Boston based teams).  During free moments, Jon enjoys quality time with his wife and two daughters, who are the joys of his life.
