Jenika Katz

Short biography

Currently a postgraduate researcher for the University of Strathclyde, Jenika started her career with Universal Parks and Resorts in 2011. She spent time in food service, ride operations, entertainment, safety compliance, operational planning, and global standards and procedures during her 9.5 years with the company. In 2020 she moved to Scotland to pursue a PhD on a Fulbright grant. Her research interests are in turnover and retention in attractions, tourism, and hospitality, with a special interest in the experiences of migrant workers. Her hobbies include being overly enthusiastic about signage, crocheting, video games, and tormenting her family with puns.
